On Sale at Old Navy
First off I completely disagree with the article "On sale at Old Navy: Cool clothes for identical zombies!" by Damien Cave. The whole article is about bashing Old Navy and Ikea by saying the stores are creating a fake culture. It is pretty much saying that consumerism is a bad thing and that these two store are corrupting out lives with cheap stuff. But the fact is, in this economy we need more stores like this. There are many people in this world out of jobs and can't afford normal name brand clothing. Old Navy may be growing but the more it grows the more jobs we have. When I go to the store, I like it when they put certain things together such as outfits or furniture set up. It's not that I won't have my own ideas about I want to do with certain clothing, it just gives me another option. When I go to friends house I see really nice set ups and I have yet to see a house taken over by one store. I don't go shopping all the time but I do know that having shopping trips with friends don't keep me from conversation but it actually helps. Going to the store can be a great bonding time with friends and family. Stores are meant to make things easy for us, and these two stores does this for the customers satisfaction. I have had Knock of brands that last longer than name brand stuff. The thing is we are more likely not worried as much to get a twenty dollar shirt dirty than getting a fifty dollar shirt dirty. Even though the selection does have as big of a variety, people can still make each thing there own. Some people might wear clothes exactly how it was in the store, but most people change it up to fit their own style. When I go to a store with name brand stuff I begin to worry about spending two much on one item because I could use the money some where else. So going to a cheaper store allows me to get something I like for a cheaper price with less worry. Even if it is a Knock off, it still looks nice and satisfies my needs

six stages of "the writing process.
Behrens says the the writing process is first understanding the task, second is gathering data, third is Invention, fourth is Drafting, fifth is revision and finally is editing. These are the five step in the writing process. My writing style is extremely similar to Behrens writing process but like I said before I don't really do drafts because I edit and revise as I go on the current draft. I only use one draft because I normally only type things up. I also don't know why I said five main steps but there are six and I would say the most important part of the process is the the Invention because the inventions is pretty much what your paper is. I think the least important thing is drafting. You can write a really good paper without doing multiple drafts. The part that I find the easiest is the Invention because I have a big imagination, but the thing that is most dificult would be the revising because even though may proof read it. You know what you want it to say so you are a little bias and miss the grammar errors. I spend most of my time working on the invention because without the ideas your paper is a dud.

What am I passionate about??
Well to start off I'm not much of a writer. Most of the time if I am writing, it is for a class or I'm sending someone a text. But when I write for a class or I'm talking to someone, the things that I'm most passionate about are really obvious. One thing that I'm really passionate about is talking about my faith or something I believe in. I am a very opinionated person and I will tell you how it is. I grew up in a broken home and so another thing I am passionate about is writing about the psychological affect broken homes on children, teens, and even adults today. When ever someone tells me to write my opinion on something, I am all for and I could write for days if it is something that interest me. So it may be selfish but I'm most passionate about things that have to do with things I have witnessed or experienced in my personal life. Things that are difficult for me to write about are things I know nothing about or don't have an opinion on. I don't know much about sports teams so if you asked me why I liked a certain team. I probably say it's because I like the team mascot or I just naturally picked a team. But I don't follow sports that much so I couldn't I like a team because of their record stats or anything. I was always the doer so I would play the sports but never followed them. Like when I was in high school someone would ask me how my schools team was doing in a specific sport and I would say I don't know. If it was about girls I could write for days. Also when I get to use my imagination I can write a lot. Thats what I'm passionate about
